MEET THE COMMITTEE!

Hey there!

We are the Open Wide committee 2019-20 and study at the University of Leeds Dental School. We are dedicated to helping students recognise their potential so they can also experience university one day & discover whether dentistry is the career for them!

I’m Laura the open Wide secretary, I ensure our committee is organised and up to date on their tasks whilst making sure we remain within our budget throughout the year.

Hi I’m Aisha and I’m one of the leads for the Secondary School Team! I’m really excited to be on SSC this year to help out students who are interested in pursuing a career in dentistry - as dental students we are in the best position to give prospective applicants a good insight into the course at university and I’m looking forward to encouraging anyone looking to apply!

I am the point of contact for making sure trips are organised so we can deliver free interactive workshops and advice to children -both educating and bringing awareness on the importance of Oral Hygiene!
